All in all I was not impressed with the latest release of Pandora Charms 2010. Perhaps they are trying to break new ground with other jewelry this year, I am not sure. But definitely, this has been the least impressive of all Pandora Charms released to date.
Having said that, I do have to note that there is a fairly impressive line up of other jewelry. Perhaps Pandora has matured to the point that it is able to ride on its name brand and become inventive about the type of jewelry it introduces to the world market? Being a Pandora Charm fan, I am not impressed with the direction the new Pandora releases are taking. I can buy any type of earring, bracelet, or necklace I want. What was unique about Pandora was the charms that could be added to any Pandora Charm bracelet.
I do not want to be too harsh, however, in my evaluation of the latest spring products. Still, I think the most original and the most becoming beads were the Murano glass beads. They were colorful, cheap, plentiful and I loved the candy striped design. Definitely sure to add something to your bracelet!
There is a very expensive (think in terms of $700 plus) 14 ct gold crown charm, complete with small diamonds. I would not add it to my Pandora bracelet. I’d rather spend my money on a necklace or a ring instead. Still, I’m sure it is just what some people want, or not?
Of course you have the usual array of Sterling silver plus gold, and only Sterling silver charms. Nothing too out of the ordinary in the selection however, in fact I personally think it paled somewhat in comparison to what was released other years.
In summary, I am not that impressed with the latest release of Pandora Charms. I did not see anything that ‘new’ or ‘original’. Personally I think Pandora is struggling, after many years of incredible success, to keep up the pace they once set.
